COMPLETE
SURVEYING
TECHNIQUES

Preserving the intricate details of historical buildings and facades is vital for safeguarding cultural heritage. Our advanced surveying techniques capture every aspect, from grand architectural features to delicate ornaments, ensuring meticulous documentation. Using contactless close-range scanners, we create highly accurate 3D models of complex structures.

In a recent example, we documented the Chamber of Commerce and Trade building, constructed between 1900 and 1902, showcasing Gothic elements in the Heimatstil. This five-story facade, with its stepped gables, roof turrets, and intricate Gothic tracery around windows, was carefully captured for preservation.

HIGH-
RESOLUTION
VISUALIZATIONS
FOR DEEP INSIGHTS

From captured data, we generate point clouds, triangulated polygon meshes, and parametric BIM models, which provide a detailed view of the building’s facade. These models are instrumental for assessing the condition and structural integrity of historical elements,

guiding maintenance and conservation decisions. In the visualizations below, high-resolution textures are reprojected onto the mesh, delivering an unparalleled level of detail, ideal for in-depth facade analysis.

A mosaic on the first floor, designed by Alfons Siber in 1906, depicts allegories of agriculture, metal and woodwork, trade, and industry. Inside, a wall painting by Albin Egger-Lienz from 1924 adorns the walls.

DIGITAL TOOLS
FOR SITES MANAGEMENT

Our platform extends beyond traditional formats such as orthogonal views and plans. It offers a robust remote inspection system, allowing stakeholders to virtually visit and analyze cultural heritage sites. This system ensures ongoing preservation, enabling regular monitoring and efficient maintenance of historical assets.

24/7 GLOBAL ACCESS
FOR REMOTE
INSPECTIONS

Through a web-based 3D viewer, our platform supports contactless, collaborative inspections accessible 24/7 from anywhere in the world. Leveraging multi-temporal datasets, we provide near-real-time as-built condition data, making remote inspection a powerful tool for heritage conservation.

SIMPLIFIED
MAPPING &
MEASURING

Our 3D Viewer enables accurate measurements and visual inspections, as well as semi-automated analyses, including deviation maps and clash detections. These tools allow for easy comparison between planned and as-built conditions, essential for identifying discrepancies and wear over time.

TRACK & MANAGE RISKS, TASKS &
ISSUES

The platform offers tools for annotating defects and risks, supporting comprehensive issue management. All annotations are tracked over time, ensuring ongoing monitoring and regulatory compliance. These records can also be exported in ISO-compliant paper formats, creating a reliable archive to uphold the building’s historical integrity.
