FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR

The Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce commissioned us to conduct a comprehensive data acquisition for the feasibility study and potential analysis for a large-scale solar system. This project envisions covering the entire façade with PV modules and installing several hundred square meters of solar panels on the roofs of their Innsbruck headquarters.

PRECISE SURVEYING
& PLANNING

Our work began with a comprehensive site survey of the building complex using both drone imaging and terrestrial LiDAR systems. This combination enabled a detailed and complete capture of the building structure, covering both the roof surfaces and façades. Through precise Scan2BIM methods, we transformed the point clouds into a high-quality, georeferenced 3D model.

The finalized dataset was integrated into our Twin-OS platform, enabling collaborative inspection and analysis by the technical teams and the client. This approach ensures that all stakeholders have access to the most up-to-date information, supporting informed decision-making at every stage.

Based on the BIM model, we conducted a detailed energy harvesting assessment, which took factors like sunlight exposure and roof orientation into account to accurately estimate the potential energy output of the proposed PV system. Through the application of BIM technology, we provided the Chamber with precise, actionable information, facilitating data-driven decisions to support their sustainable energy initiatives.
