Our recent work at the Rioni River in northern Georgia serves as a testament to this dedication. This challenging project spanned over 10 square kilometers and involved collecting extensive geospatial data to support the feasibility study for a new hydropower facility. Our mission: to create an accurate, detailed digital representation of the terrain and proposed construction sites, including the dam and powerhouse, which would provide a foundation for precise planning and sustainable development.

In this rugged and densely vegetated terrain, our 4-person team worked tirelessly over 2.5 days, combining aerial surveys with high-precision terrestrial LiDAR scanning. Despite obstacles posed by the landscape and limited accessibility, we achieved ground-sampling distances down to 15 millimeters in critical areas near the riverbanks. This level of precision allowed us to generate reliable data essential for both immediate project requirements and long-term planning.

This approach ensures that each stage of the project, from initial analysis to final implementation, is anchored by precise, dependable data.
