RECONSTRUCTING KING HENRY VIII’S ARMOR: AN INTRICATE DIGITAL JOURNEY

One of our most detailed projects involved digitally reconstructing the original armor of King Henry VIII, a masterpiece of medieval craftsmanship adorned with remarkably intricate engravings. Using high-resolution photography, advanced 3D laser scanning, and photogrammetry, we meticulously captured every detail of the armor’s elaborate design.

These digital renditions allow historians, researchers, and the public to admire the armor’s craftsmanship from anywhere in the world. The 3D model, now accessible on our collaborative web platform, serves as both a resource for historical study and a stunning example of digital preservation.

COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH &
EDUCATIONAL ACCESS

Our digital models provide more than just preservation; they create a shared platform for global collaboration. Scholars and researchers around the world can examine the armor’s details simultaneously, enriching the collective understanding of this artifact.
