BRIDGING
REALITIES WITH
SCAN TO BIM
Following precise data capture, GEOBILITY crafts high-accuracy BIM models that ensure a seamless fit with the scanned environment.
Depending on the LOG (Level of Geometry) and LOI (Level of Information) requirements, we enrich these models with the necessary additional details and information, tailoring to the project's specific needs.
CAPTURING
REALITY
in A BREEZE
The SCAN2BIM workflow starts with advanced data acquisition, utilizing state-of-the-art laser scanning and drone technologies to capture the existing conditions of a site. This process ensures the collection of high-resolution spatial data with exceptional accuracy. In our recent project, we created a detailed BIM model for a 12,000 m² facility within 10 days, showcasing our efficiency and expertise in handling large-scale SCAN2BIM projects and providing stakeholders with essential insights for informed decision-making.
TURNING DATA
INTO DETAILED
INSIGHTS
Following data acquisition, the collected information undergoes precision processing. Raw data from laser scanners and drones is converted into usable formats, involving cleaning, organizing, and aligning to create a coherent dataset.
This meticulous process allows for the generation of highly accurate Building Information Models (BIM) with varying levels of detail, tailored to the specific needs of the project.
DISCOVER
THE PRECISION OF
LOD & LOIN
The level of detail in our BIM models is customized to project needs. Starting with basic shapes, we gradually refine the model by adding precise dimensions, positions, and relationships. We include accurate geometries and detailed specifications, representing the "as-built" condition. Our highest level of modeling captures all necessary information for construction and maintenance with maximum geometric fidelity. Additionally, we look beyond scanned surfaces, incorporating Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Plumbing (MEP) details inside the walls.

BIM
COMPLIANCE
Harnessing the power of Building Information Modelling (BIM), we not only provide a virtual representation of your structures but also embed it with information layers crucial for your projects.
In BIM, the ÖNORM 6241-2 phase model regulates detail and information depth.
The "Level of Information Need" (LOIN) from DIN EN 17412-1 replaces the former LOD concept, focusing on precise information requirements per project phase.
