NEW PERSPECTIVES IN
DIGITAL BUILDING INSPECTION
We are excited to be featured in the latest Digital Report 2024 by digital.tirol. This recognition highlights the growing importance of digital innovations in the construction and real estate sectors. The report showcases how GEOBILITY leverages cutting-edge technology to make building inspections more efficient, sustainable, and precise.
Digital transformation is driving fundamental change. Increasing skills shortages and loss of experience are major challenges. At the same time, far-reaching measures are needed to reduce CO₂ emissions in the building sector, which is responsible for 40% of energy-related emissions. GEOBILITY combines accurate data collection, innovative processing technologies and intuitive tools in a modular platform to provide sustainable solutions for the industry.
FUTURE OF
CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION
A prime example of GEOBILITY's innovative approach is the inspection of the Europabrücke bridge. By using advanced technologies such as High resolution camera and laser systems Specially developed drone technology the entire structure has been digitised with an impressive resolution of 0.4 millimetres. This process allows a 'hands-on' inspection of the structure without the need for physical access. is required.
Advantages of this technology:
More precise condition analyses
Reduce costs through early detection of damage
More efficient service & maintenance planning
Sustainable & resource efficient maintenance
GEOBILITY-
ECOSYSTEM
But our work goes far beyond large infrastructure projects. The GEOBILITY ecosystem offers a wide range of applications, including
Development of real estate construction projects
Construction management to increase efficiency during the construction phase
Wide range of commercial and industrial applications
Revitalization of buildings through digital twins
Infrastructure monitoring for real-time monitoring of critical structures

DOCUMENTATION & PRESERVATION
OF CULTURAL HERITAGE
A special example is the digital documentation of the Rudolfsbrunnen in Innsbruck. Thanks to high-resolution scanning and innovative visualization tools, this historic structure has been digitally preserved - ideal for restoration and tourism.
CAPTURING ART IN ITS MOST DETAILED FORM:
THE FRESCOES & PAINTINGS OF THE RUDOLFSBRUNNEN
The elaborate decoration of the Rudolf Fountain is both historically significant and extremely fragile. Using specialized imaging techniques, we digitally documented these ornate frescoes and paintings in their original context. Our process involved precise digital capture of the painted surfaces, which were then projected onto a 3D model. This allowed even the finest brushstrokes and pigment details to be preserved with mathematical accuracy.
A special feature of this method is the correction of distortions that can be caused by curved or uneven surfaces. The result is high-resolution, two-dimensional images that reproduce the works of art in an unaltered form.
These digital reproductions are valuable resources for scientists and restorers, who can now analyze and study the frescoes and paintings in detail without endangering the original.
